Privacy Policy

Information You Provide

If you contact FindBullionDeals at support@findbulliondeals.com or otherwise communicate with us, we receive the information you choose to provide, which may include your email address, message, deal submissions, links, screenshots, reports, removal requests, or support questions. If you submit content for possible publication or community use, that content may be displayed, discussed, moderated, or shared as part of operating the Services.

Voting Identifier and Theme Preference

FindBullionDeals uses first-party browser local storage for limited site functionality. The Current Spot Deals page creates and stores a randomly generated anonymous visitor identifier (fbd_visitor_id) in your browser so the voting system can associate votes with that browser identifier. The site also stores your selected light or dark appearance preference (fbd-theme) so your theme choice can be remembered. These values are not intended by FindBullionDeals to identify you by name.

You can generally clear local-storage values using your browser controls. Clearing the voting identifier may cause the site to treat that browser as a new visitor for voting purposes, and clearing the theme preference will cause the default theme to be used again.

Database and Voting Data

Voting functionality uses Supabase as database infrastructure. When you vote, the Services may store the anonymous visitor identifier, the applicable deal identifier, the vote value, and related database timestamps or technical records needed to operate the feature. Supabase may also process technical information as part of providing its infrastructure services.

Hosting and Technical Information

FindBullionDeals uses third-party hosting and infrastructure, including Vercel. Like most websites and infrastructure providers, these services may process or log technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, request information, timestamps, referring information, server logs, and security or abuse-prevention data as part of delivering and protecting the Services.

Market Data and Other Service Providers

The Live Prices feature relies on a third-party market-data service. Other infrastructure or service providers may process technical information needed to provide their services. Their handling of information is also governed by their own terms and privacy practices.

Discord and External Websites

FindBullionDeals operates a community on Discord, which is a third-party platform. Your Discord account, messages, and other information processed by Discord are subject to Discord's own terms and privacy practices. The Services also link to dealers and other third-party websites or services. A link may redirect through additional third parties. Once you interact with a third party, its own privacy practices apply. FindBullionDeals does not control those third parties' data practices.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

FindBullionDeals does not currently use advertising cookies and does not currently sell personal information. The first-party local-storage uses described above support voting and theme preferences. Third-party infrastructure and services may use cookies, local storage, logs, or similar technologies according to their own practices. If FindBullionDeals adds analytics, advertising, or other tracking technologies in the future, this Policy may be updated as appropriate.

Retention and Security
